Flavour on the plate

A photo that sells the dish before the guest even opens the menu. I set the light, wait for the moment and catch the texture, the steam, the dripping sauce… so your mouth waters. Every dish has its own character and I build the frame around it, not around a template.

FAQ

Before you book a session

Every kitchen and every menu is different, so treat this as a starting point. Tell me what you're planning and we'll sort out the rest directly.

How long does a food photography session take?

Depends on the number of dishes and whether we shoot the interior too. I usually count it in hours, not full days, so you pay for real work, not my travel time.

How many dishes can I fit into one session?

I don't set a hard limit, because one dish with sauce, steam and texture can take longer than five simple ones. We work it out together when quoting, based on the menu you show me.

Do you bring your own gear and props?

Yes, I bring my own light, backgrounds and small props. If you have your own tableware or signature plates, even better, it builds consistency with your brand.

Are the photos good for a menu and ads, or just social media?

I shoot in a quality that holds up in print, on a billboard or a menu cover, not just on a phone screen. Just tell me in advance what they're for, and I'll frame accordingly.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of dishes, the location, and whether you need just product shots or also the mood of the place and the people at work. Tell me what you have in mind and I'll reply with a real quote.

Can you also shoot the interior while you're there?

Sure, I often combine it with the food session in one visit, it works out cheaper and smoother than two separate dates. Just mention it when we're working out the quote.
