You are a prism
through which light refracts

I was born and raised in Jelenia Góra. Before I picked up the camera for good, for years I danced ballroom, trained capoeira, and earned a degree in English, a master's in journalism, public relations and social education, and a postgraduate diploma in specialised translation. I worked in culture, and I was a teacher, a translator, a lecturer, a manager and a DJ.

All those worlds gave me a huge amount of experience, and today they are part of every photo. Dance taught me to read movement and sense the exact moment to press the shutter. Working in culture taught me to see what really matters in a scene. Language and hundreds of conversations taught me to put people at ease in front of the lens, from couples shaking before their vows to stage stars just before they walk on.

I learned wedding photography at Two Mann Studios, on a six month scholarship. From them I took what is still my compass today: truth over perfection, emotion over a staged pose. I would rather have a frame that is a little imperfect but real, one that carries emotion and a story worth remembering, than one that is artificial and posed.

Today I photograph weddings, food, events, theatre and brands. I work with light and colour very carefully, so my photos do not need heavy post production. I do it without Photoshop and without AI, because in a world flooded with generated images, where it is harder and harder to tell real from fake, a true photograph builds trust.

No place is too far for me, I pack my gear and come wherever I am needed. In a single year I visited around 250 places, in 77 cities and 6 countries. But the strongest things still happen close to home, here in the Giant Mountains (Karkonosze), and in the people I meet with a camera in my hand.
