What is behind each of them
Behind each of these awards are years of work and hundreds of frames. Here are the ones that mean the most to me, and why.
Number one, earned over a whole year
Number one in the world at Foodelia is not one lucky frame. Foodelia counts points all year round, so to finish first you have to deliver top quality consistently, dish after dish, for twelve months. It is the title I am most proud of, because it stands on a full year of work and persistence, not on chance.
On the podium, judged worldwide
IPA is one of the most prestigious photography competitions in the world, with thousands of entries from dozens of countries. In 2026 I took podium places and honourable mentions in several categories, and received the awards at a gala in the Benaki Museum in Athens. Every verdict like this is confirmation from an international jury that a frame holds up on both craft and story.
In the world's top ten
Top 10 in the world at Flash Masters in Environmental Photography. It is a ranking of the best photographers working with light outdoors, from all over the world. Being in the global top ten is a huge distinction for me, because what counts there is the idea, the light and the courage, not the gear.
What stays over the years
1st Place & 2nd Place, Athens
Four awards at the IPA 2026: First Place in Sport, Second Place in Event, plus two Honorable Mentions in Advertising Food & Beverage and Panoramic. Gala at the Benaki Museum in Athens.
Food & Drink shortlist
The Spotlight Awards are run by Production Paradise, a platform used by agencies and brands worldwide. Entries are judged by art buyers and creative directors, including from brands like Unilever and Arla. Making the shortlist, the TOP 10 in the food category, is a sign that my frames hold up in front of the people who buy advertising photography for a living.
Personality of the Year 2025
An award from the Mayor of Jelenia Góra, presented at the Norwid Theatre.
Time capsule
My photographs sealed in the time capsule on the spire of the Norwid Theatre, for future generations.
